‘Together, Towards Tomorrow’ is the vision that mps has envisaged for itself a vision that seems not impossible to accomplish, a vision so different, yet clear. The vision is of a changed classroom scenario in which the teaching learning process is no more the conventional ‘Talk and chalk method’, rather it is ‘ Learning by doing’ or ‘Experimental Learning’, method where learning is made interesting & enjoyable and not a burden; where teacher is a mentor and facilitator, not an instructor, where studies are not the only prime concern and where knowledge limits not itself to book but stretches its fences far beyond the horizon. It has been rightly remarked, “Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember involve me and I’ll understand”. Keeping this maxim in mind, we make an earnest endeavour to make learning a pleasure for the young scholars. Schools cannot limit their scope to mere teaching of abstractions such as algebra and grammar. They also need to instruct about health including diet and exercise. The whole issue of scholastic competition needs careful review. Presently, the space is so limited that only students with the highest grades are accepted. Let us expand our ability to enroll and prepare all qualified applicants. The whole object of education is … to develop the mind. The mind should be a thing that works.
