Examination, Evaluation, Marking, and Promotion
The school academic year begins in April and consists of two terms. For promotion to the next
class, the marks of both the Term Exams and Internal Assessments are consolidated and taken
into consideration.
Academic Performance: Scholastic Areas
The school emphasizes on scholastic and non-scholastic achievements of students. In addition
to the Term Examinations and Internal Assessments, Pupil’s behavior, development in non-
cognitive areas; participation in House Activities, curricular and co-curricular activities, and
community services are also observed and evaluated. The school gives due weightage to the
percentage of attendance, homework and class work, and project and practical work. Efforts are
made to evaluate the pupil in all three domains of his behavior-cognitive, affective, and
psychomotor. The school maintains a cumulative record of each student.
