Education according to Swami Vivekananda is the manifestation of the perfection lying within. True education enables an individual to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life. Education must provide opportunities to enhance the student’s creativity, expression and the capacity for aesthetic expression. It is training in citizenship. It is a process of character building- sowing within the individual seeds of values, of simplicity and service and helping to blossom into a beautiful human being. It is the only way to a better tomorrow. It is necessary to instil in their minds a dream, a vision, a burning passion to achieve their goals. The school ethos, which includes the teacher’s relationship with the child, is viewed as being of paramount importance in the learning process and when children are accorded a positive school experience which includes development of their literacy, numeracy and communication skills, this in turn enhances their self-esteem and conï¬dence and their motivation to learn is increased.
It feel satisfied to see that continuous efforts are being made by the school for the best grooming of the students .We try to bridge the gap between Materialistic Education which has increased our knowledge of science and technology, giving us skills and worldly prosperity and the value based and spiritual Education which enables us to be centred within and become good human beings.
